Congestion occurred on the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) toll road at Km 36 and 47. The two points of congestion were due to queues to enter the contraflow lane.
“Information on the density at Km 39 to 47 is due to congestion in the contraflow lane. Because there are two points to enter the contraflow lane at 39 and 47,” said Jasa Marga call center officer, Arif, when contacted, Saturday (6/4/2024).
Arif mentioned contraflow at Km 36 there is one column. While at Km 47 there are two columns.
“To enter 36 there is one lane, then at 47 there are two contraflow lanes,” he said.
Then, the traffic jam started from Km 36. The traffic jam is said to be around 3 kilometers long.
“For (Km) 36, it’s 3 kilometers back,” he said.
