Munajat Kubro 212 held at Monas, Central Jakarta, today. A number of roads lead to Monas will be closed and traffic diverted during the activity.
“We have prepared traffic engineering, but it is situational,” said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman to detikcomFriday (1/12/2023).
Latif appealed to people who have no business to avoid the route to the Monas area. This is because several roads leading to Monas will be used as parking locations.
“We urge the public to avoid the Monas area on Saturday, December 2, because Munajat Kubro activities will be held,” said Latif.
Polda Metro Jaya has prepared a number of parking pockets to accommodate Munajat 212 participants. Traffic closures will be implemented starting early Saturday (2/12).
“Yes, we are closing. Because starting tonight the action participants will arrive,” he said.
Check out the diversion routes around Monas:
1. Traffic flow from Jalan Hayam Wuruk which will go straight to Jalan Majapahit is turned left to Jalan Juanda and traffic flow from Jl Veteran Raya which is going to turn left to Jl Majapahit is straightened to Jl Suryo Pranoto or turned right to Jalan Gajah Mada.
2. Traffic flow from Jalan Veteran Raya heading towards Jalan Veteran III will be straightened to TL Harmoni
3. Traffic flow from Jalan Veteran Raya heading towards Jalan Veteran II will be straightened to TL Harmoni
4. Traffic from Jalan Merdeka Timur heading towards Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara is diverted to the right onto Jalan Perwira
5. Traffic flow from Jalan Ridwan Rais heading towards Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan will be straightened to Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur
6. The traffic flow from Jalan Abdul Muis which will turn left onto Jalan Budi Kemuliaan will be straightened to Jalan Fachrudin and the traffic flow from Jalan Fachrudin which will turn right onto Jalan Budi Kemuliaan will be straightened to Jalan Abdul Muis
7. Traffic from Jalan Abdul Muis going to Jalan Museum is closed.
Munajat 212 activities were held at Monas today. The police deployed thousands of personnel to guard this activity.
“5,734 security personnel on December 2 2023 at Monas,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko when contacted, Thursday (30/11).
The Committee Did Not Invite Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates
Munajat 212 was held at Monas, Central Jakarta, early in the morning from 03.00 to 09.00 WIB. The event will begin with tahajud prayers, munajat and tausiah from a number of ulama figures.
The Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) has given permission for Munajat 212 activities. The letter was signed by the Secretary of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Setya Utama.
“The permission is from DKI, we agree in principle with the condition that it is not for political activities,” said Setya, Tuesday (28/11).
Deputy Secretary General of PA 212 Novel Bamukmin said Munajat 212 would not invite presidential and vice presidential candidates. This activity was purely to offer prayers for the safety of the Republic of Indonesia and Palestine.
“We make sure we don’t invite any presidential or vice presidential candidates. Because this event is intended for the safety of the people ahead of the 2024 elections and also to pray for our brothers and sisters in Palestine,” said Novel when contacted, Wednesday (29/11).
