East police district reports at 20.34 about several kilometers of traffic on the E18 in Ørje in the direction of Sweden.
– There are several kilometers of queues, and many have stood there for many hours. The police are now calling out, among other things, the Red Cross to supply motorists with water and blankets should the need arise.
Motorists who have run out of fuel are asked to call 112.
The road traffic center east has therefore now asked people to call the police’s emergency number if they are about to run out of electricity or fuel.
