Beatings at a party, arguments while waiting – after Halloween, some police stations report more operations. One incident even brings back memories of old horror films.

In Freisbach (Germersheim district), a man dressed as a ghost triggered a police operation, as the police in Germersheim announced via Twitter. The man had been out with a chainsaw. Although he had removed the cutting chain from the saw, local residents were frightened by the howling engine.

In Worms, the police often had to move out because strangers had thrown eggs at moving cars and houses. Fortunately, there was no accident, police said. In addition, several groups of young people ignited firecrackers and damaged garbage cans.

Ghosts apparently dreaded the rain
