Traffic accidents:

There were a total of nine traffic accidents in the reporting period. Eight accidents only resulted in property damage, four of which were caused by wildlife.

On Saturday, July 15, 2023 at around 10:00 a.m., a motorcyclist drove on the L 223 from Rayerschied in the direction of Pleizenhausen. In a left-hand bend, the driver left the roadway due to inappropriate speed in the rain and fell into the ditch. Luckily he was only slightly injured.

criminal charges:

On Friday, July 14, 2023 at around 12:45 p.m., an e-scooter driver was subjected to a traffic check on Altweidelbacher Straße in Simmern. Valid insurance cover is required to drive an e-scooter on public roads. Since the driver was unable to show valid insurance cover for the e-scooter, criminal proceedings are now awaiting him. Further travel was prohibited.

Disturbance:

There were a total of ten reported disturbances over the weekend. Those responsible were warned to remain calm by the police officers deployed.
