– This leads to long queues. This is a stretch with so much traffic that there is now actually a queue up to Skedsmokorset, traffic operator Trude Lindstad tells Vegtrafikksentralen East to Dagbladet.
The first incident occurred at around 1.50pm on Thursday afternoon when an ambulance and a car were involved in an accident between Hvam and Tangerud.
No injuries were reported, the traffic operator says.
– A quarter of an hour later we received a message about a train-truck with a stop in line. It happened right after right at Djupdalstoppen in the direction of Oslo. Two separate crashes in nearly the same place lead to long, long queues back on E6, Lindstad says.
A short time later, he informs of another caravan that is between Hvam and Djupdalstoppen.
According to Vegtrafikksentralen, the police say that only a small cleaning remains between the ambulance and the car after the accident.
At 14.58 the Road Circulation Center wrote that the road was opened to traffic after the accident, but that the road train continues to cause problems.
– A train of trucks is standing in the center lane behind the scene of the accident, waiting for rescuers. This means that the queue behind after the accident dissolves more slowly, they write on Twitter.
Half an hour later, they report that the recovery of the caravan at Djupdalen is about to take place.
