The accident happened around 11.30 on Wednesday on the E18 near Horten. The police received a report of a road accident in the southbound lane just south of Kopstad. Only one car was involved and the driver was not injured.
The regular writing that a tow truck was at the scene at 12.10 and removed the car while traffic was directed past the scene of the accident.
At 12.30, police could say that the driver, a woman in her 30s, explained that she got the gas and brakes wrong, which caused her to drive into to the guard rail.
