Motorcycle accidents were followed by 605 accidents, resulting in 819 injuries and 45 deaths.

Statistics showed that bicycles caused 91 accidents, resulting in 105 injuries and 7 deaths. Electric bicycles caused 32 accidents, resulting in 41 injuries and one death, and light buses with fewer than 27 passengers, causing 109 accidents, resulting in 177 injuries and 17 deaths.

The statistics revealed that there were 408 thousand and 406 new licenses issued last year, and the Emirate of Dubai topped the issuance of the largest number of driving licenses, with 187 thousand and 365 licenses, of which 187 thousand and 252 were for males, and 113 for females. This was followed by the capital, Abu Dhabi, with 113,799 licenses, of which 92,992 were for males, and 20,807 were for females.

The Emirate of Sharjah issued 52,329 new licenses, of which 41,412 were for males and 10,917 for females. The Emirate of Ajman issued 16,775 licenses, of which 12,548 were for males and 4,227 for females. And the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain issued 4,579 licenses, of which 3,766 were for males and 813 for females. And the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah issued 14,394 licenses, of which 11,170 were for males and 3,224 for females. The Emirate of Fujairah issued 19,165 licenses, 18,059 for males, and 1,106 for females.

The statistics identified about 40 reasons that lead to accidents, including negligence and lack of attention, entering the street before making sure it is empty, crossing a red light, not giving priority to pedestrian crossings, speeding without taking into account the road conditions, driving in the opposite direction, and reversing without making sure that the road is clear.
