A traffic accident electric car occurred on Jalan Rasuna Said, South Jakarta (South Jakarta). The car hit a road divider and was wrecked.
Setiabudi Police Chief Kompol Arif Purnama Oktora said the incident occurred on Sunday (6/8/2023) around 14.45 WIB. Arriving at the location, the electric car suddenly crashed into a concrete road divider.
“A type of Hyundai electric vehicle crashed into a road divider. The alleged accident is still being investigated by Polda Metro Jaya,” said Arif when contacted, Sunday (6/8/2023).

Arif said that at the time of the incident there was a motorist behind the electric car. The motorbike driver was also shocked and hit the back of the car.
“At the time of the crash, the motorbike behind was shocked. So it hit on the back. There was a motorbike too,” he said.
Luckily there were no casualties in the accident. However, it is known that the car and motorcycle drivers suffered minor injuries.
It is not yet known what exactly caused the electric car to crash into concrete. According to Arif, the accident also had no impact on the density of traffic flow.
“The cause is unknown, while the driver was taken to the hospital using an ambulance. The victims were lightly injured, there were no fatalities,” he added.
The accident was also informed via the social media account @tmcpoldametro. In the post, it appears that the car has been badly damaged on the front.
There was also damage to the right side of the car door. The concrete dividing the road looks a bit damaged. The car involved in the accident crossed the road.
