The Lutsk City District Court of the Volyn Region has chosen a preventive measure in the form of house arrest for a teenager who has committed an accident in Lutsk. About it informs regional headquarters of the National Police on Tuesday, December 14.
Two victims of the road accident – a 39-year-old woman and her 5-year-old son are still in the intensive care unit of the regional hospital. Four more women received bruises and fractures.
The suspect faces three to eight years in prison. Investigative actions in this case are currently ongoing.
As you know, on December 12 in Lutsk on Sobornost Avenue, a teenager in a Renault Megane car ran away from the police and hit six pedestrians… After a few meters, the car flew into a tree and a road sign.
The driver with the passengers tried to escape, but they were immediately detained on the spot by citizens and police. Later, the police said that the driver and his fellow passengers were minors. Police chase passengers filmed live to the music.
It also became known that the culprit of the accident in Lutsk was a 16-year-old local resident Dmitry Rudyuk… The teenager was driving his stepfather’s car, who at the time of the accident was not in Ukraine.
