A traffic accident caused a violent accident between a truck and a man riding a motorcycle this evening, Sunday August 11, on regional road 7 leading to Puget-sur-Argens, in the town of Fréjus.
The firefighters quickly intervened with a dispatch and marking vehicle and an ambulance to rescue the victim.
But on site, the rescuers had to alert the Smur and the Dragon 06 Civil Security helicopter.
The motorcyclist is seriously injured and has to be airlifted to the Pasteur hospital complex in Nice.
