A traffic accident occurred on Engelbergerstrasse, below the Obermatt curve, early on Saturday morning. That writes the Obwalden cantonal police.
A car was traveling downhill when it skidded, crossed the oncoming lane and went down the steep curb. A tree stopped the car, which came to rest on its side. The driver was lucky in the misfortune: he was unharmed, as the police continue to write.
