Darmstadt (ots) – On Wednesday, November 25th, 2020 between 3:35 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. there was a traffic accident in which a 10-year-old child was injured.
The child rode his bike on the pavement and bike path at the level of the exit of the REWE Center on Rüdesheimer Straße. As he passed the exit, the boy was hit by a white Audi (station wagon) on his bike that was about to drive onto Rüdesheimer Strasse.
After the accident, the unknown male driver left the scene of the accident without getting out of the car.
The boy was slightly injured but was able to continue on his way home. The police estimate the property damage in the low three-digit range.
Witnesses who can provide information about the fugitive vehicle, occupants or the course of the accident are asked to report to the 2nd Darmstadt Police Station (06151 / 969-3710) or any other police station.
