On Friday noon, April 9th, 2021, in the period 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., a traffic accident occurred in Bahlingen aK, Eichstetter Straße, in which a construction site traffic light was significantly damaged.
At the entrance to Bahlingen, coming from Eichstetten, there is currently a construction site as the road surface there is being renewed. Traffic management is ensured, among other things, by a construction site traffic light.
As the investigations of the Emmendingen police station showed, the vehicle in question was driving on Eichstetter Straße from the direction of Eichstetten and collided with one of these traffic lights. The collision resulted in property damage of around 3,000.00 euros.
After the collision, the vehicle causing the accident continued its journey abruptly and thus moved away from the scene of the accident without permission.
