At 1pm on Saturday, the emergency services move to Lier following a report of a traffic accident on the E18 in the Fosskoll Tunnel. The accident must have occurred in a southbound direction.
Two cars and a motorcycle
At 1:30 p.m., the emergency services are on the scene. Two cars and a motorcycle will be involved. All those involved are stable and there are no reports of injuries.
– Everything indicates that there is no question of personal injury. The motorcyclist drove out of the tunnel, not to run away – but because he did not feel safe in there. I agree with that, says operations manager Roger Aaser to Drammens Tidende and says that the health and fire services have left the scene.
Traffic is moving past the accident scene in one lane, and car rescuers have been alerted.

At 14.7 the police report that the road has been cleared and that the emergency services have left the scene. When the police left, the queue started before Padderudvannet in Asker.

Investigating the matter
The police are now working to investigate the course of the incident.
– We have to investigate whether someone has been negligent, or whether this will just be a damage report, says Aaser.
The police report at 2:00 p.m. that they are opening a case.
