Eichgraben nature lovers invited people to go hiking.
In the best hiking weather, numerous hikers followed the invitation of the Eichgraben Nature Friends and marched the 12 kilometer long route through the Vienna Woods.
From the old garden center we went over the Praterstern and the Dreiwasserstrasse to the bivouac box, where a refreshment station was set up. We continued on the mountain road to the Roman graves and over the stone and the baths back to the starting point.
The strongest group was the Eichgraben fire department, followed by the hiking friends Maria Anzbach, the ÖTK Innermanzing and the EVG Vienna. The hikers who traveled the furthest came from Freistadt.
There were also many families with children among the hikers who were very happy about the children’s trophies. The Nature Friends team ensured that the visitors were fed and that the day of hiking ran smoothly. The highlights of the day for the children were the nature quiz and the climbing tower with the climbing team.
