Trading boss Michael Grupp resigns: Rundschau

Michael Grupp, National Sales Director, will be leaving the Warsteiner Group at the end of February. The brewery group announced this on Friday. As sales director, Grupp was responsible for the entire commercial business in Germany. He joined the Warsteiner Group in March 2018. He previously worked for Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG, where he was responsible for the food retail business and key account management for almost ten years.

According to the information, Warsteiner’s farewell is by mutual agreement. Grupp now wants to face new professional challenges. “We would like to thank Michael Grupp for his work and his great commitment,” says Helmut Hörz, CEO of the Warsteiner Group. “We wish him every success in his future tasks.”

Until further notice, Uwe Albershardt, Managing Director Sales and Marketing, will take over the management of national sales at the Warsteiner Group on an interim basis.
