The cabinet is obliged to prepare, as far as possible, the next budget, and the increase of the minimum wage can also be included in it, Vanya Grigorova, an economic adviser from KT Podkrepa, said in an interview with BNR.
According to Grigorova, the minimum wage should become at least BGN 850 if we want to comply with the directive of the European Commission.
Asen Vasilev was the reason why it froze at the levels of April 1, he also expressed concerns about the update of pensions, the expert noted.
The recalculation of pensions from October 1 is included in the budget, Grigorova recalled.
She pointed out that due to the missing definition of energy poor, many people in need will not receive assistance.
