The Spot 3 GPS Messenger, with its particularly compact dimensions and a weight of only 160 g, is ideal for weekend trips or short trips. The device enables you to communicate with friends and family, which is vital in extreme cases. Your position will only be localized if you allow it.
Tracking of vehicles and boats
The Spot 3 Messenger has an integrated motion sensor that enables vehicles and boats to be tracked. Set the built-in motion sensor to land or sea mode and tracking will begin as soon as the Spot 3 detects movement. If desired, supply the messenger with external supply voltage via the micro USB connection and use the batteries as a backup. This makes it ideal for fleet operators or boat rental companies.
In order to use SPOT’s services, you must register with the manufacturer and pay an annual fee.
