A female body was found in an apartment building in Fürth-Stadeln on Tuesday. The police suspect a homicide and have begun investigations. According to initial findings, the victim is a resident of the building.
The body showed signs of blunt force trauma, which led investigators to conclude that the woman was the victim of a violent crime. The officers were alerted by an emergency call from neighbors who had discovered traces of blood in the stairwell of the house on Liegnitzer Strasse. A patrol was then called and found the lifeless woman in one of the apartments.
That same afternoon, specialists from the homicide squad and representatives of the public prosecutor’s office began their work at the crime scene. They questioned residents to obtain clues about the course of events and possible suspects. The police also used a helicopter to support the search for the suspected perpetrator. Police dogs also searched the area around the house for clues.
The police are asking the public for help. Witnesses who have made suspicious observations are asked to contact the investigating authorities.
