It has ever happened to all of us to go on vacation with friends, take the perfect photograph and see that we have an unwanted “extra” in it, or have a photo that we love but in which the landscape could be improved. Trace is the web application that allows you all that and much more. With Trace you will be able to remove the background from your photos with truly enviable results without having to resort to programs like Photoshop, with the time and skill that this implies.
Using Trace is really simple, you just have to access the StickerMule page and run the utility online by following these steps, it’s totally free!
- Open the website and register at stickermule.com
- Click on the button “Upload a photo” and select the image to which you want to apply the process.
It is important to note that the protagonist of the photos and the backgrounds to be removed must be in different planes for Trace to recognize them, that is, they must be in a different color tone or the background must be out of focus. You can also move your images.
After removing the background, you can resize or reposition the object, you can even rotate it however you want to fit your new background. You can also remove the backgrounds of up to five images on a single canvas, which means you can include multiple photos in a collage.

Once Trace has proceeded to remove the background from your photos, you have two options available:
