Trabzonspor’s former star Yattara returned to football at the age of 42 in the amateur league. Yattara, who was transferred to Yeşil Çivril Belediyespor, one of the Super Amateur League teams in Denizli, has been licensed for amateur football player. Yattara, who became a Turkish citizen, appeared on the field under the name ‘İbrahim Third’.

Yattara, who agreed with Yeşil Çivril Belediyespor, one of the Denizli Super Amateur teams, within the scope of the ‘Support to Amateur Football’ project, came to Denizli by plane for the match played today. Before Yeşil Çivril Belediyespor’s home match with Denizli Yıldızspor in the Super Amateur League Group A match, Yattara started her preparations in the dressing room with her teammates.
Afterwards, Yattara went to the field and watched the match from the bench for a while. Warming up before being put into the game, Yattara entered the game with the number 61 jersey in the 60th minute of the match.
3,000 PEOPLE WATCHED THE MATCH
Yattara, who sweated until the end of the match and won the admiration of the audience with his dribbling moves to the opposing team players, tried to assist his teammates. Yattara’s team, Yeşil Çivril Belediyespor, won the match against Denizli Yıldızspor 1-0 with a goal by Halil Çakır in the 59th minute. Nearly 3,000 spectators watched the match. At the end of the match, Yattara, who experienced the joy of victory for the first time in the amateur league, had the audience shoot a triple.

Stating that he is happy to play in the amateur league, Yattara said, “I am happy to be involved in such a project for the development of amateur football. I think this is a very good situation. Maybe it’s the dream of amateur footballers here, playing ball with a professional football player. That’s why I came here, I wanted them to play with me and motivate me. I am very happy, there is a team like family here,” he said.
