“So the initial description of the TPNPB-OPM military coup in Paniai included him (Anton Gobay) and until now he is still in internal conflict. Anton Gobay was a committee member of the WPA Extraordinary Summit in Totiyo Paniai, and at that time (currently) Anton Gobay was Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces WPA air, and from WPA Anton Gobay are only entrusted with destroying military unity in West Papua,” he added.
“And in this case the Paniai TPNPB PIS has evidence that Anton Gobay collaborated with Indonesian officials or officials, and all the activities of Anton Gobay and his group were facilitated by Indonesian officials,” he said.
“Therefore, we suspect that Anton Gobay buying weapons in the Philippines was part of a plot by the enemy to uncover the secrets of the weapons purchasing network, so we cannot trust the Indonesian government and the Demianus Magai Yogi and Anton Gobay groups for this arrest. And the money came from officials. the Indonesian government, because we already know that Anton Gobay has the support of (from) Indonesian government officials in Papua,” he said.
“This is important for all parties to know, because the Indonesian government officials themselves provided financial support to Anton Gobay to buy weapons, so the Indonesian government should not be preoccupied with the case of Anton Gobay’s arrest in the Philippines. Just let the case of Anton Gobay’s arrest, that is the affairs of the Philippine government,” he said.
Sebby also emphasized that it was clear that Anton Gobay was not a member of the TPNPB-OPM, but that Anton Gobay was a member of the WPA. “So there is no argument that can justify that Anton Gobay is a member of TPNPB. That’s clear,” said Sebby Sambom.
“Because the WPA is a counter-military wing for the purposes of the coup, and that was founded by Benny Wenda. Benny Wenda’s goal is to become president of Papua. So we reject it and we are not interested in ambitious people like Benny Wenda,” he said.
