The President of the Republic, Sauli Niinistö, participated in the meeting on supporting Ukraine organized in Paris on Monday.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and find common ways to support Ukraine more efficiently. The meeting is hosted by the President of France Emmanuel Macron and it is attended by heads of state and government from several different European countries.
This is Niinistö’s last visit abroad as president of the republic. Power will change this week on Friday, March 1, when Alexander Stubb takes office.
The published photos are therefore one of the last official photos that will be published of Niinistö while he is carrying out his duties abroad as the president of the republic.
