JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – After Toyota Vios, which got refreshed around last July, is now the turn Yaris A sliding facelift.
Like the Philippines, which was the first country to sell the new Vios, Thailand could turn to be the first country to market Yaris facelift.
Reporting from Headlightmag, Yaris facelift in Thailand slid along with the sedan type, namely the Yaris Activ facelift.
The most striking change compared to the previous Yaris model, now the front looks new with integrated LED + DRL headlights.

Not to forget the LED fog lamp, sporty body kit, new 15-inch dual-tone rim design, and a black roof (specifically on the Yaris Sport Premium CVT with Black Roof).
While on the interior, there are darker silver ornaments on the dashboard, auto dimming mirrors, auto wipers, front rear DVR, and 2 USB ports.
Especially for the Thai market, it also features the Toyota Safety Sense which consists of a Pre-Collision System and Lane Departure Alert (specifically for the Premium Sport type / highest type) as well as a rear passenger seatbelt indicator.

Toyota Yaris Facelift-
Talking about the kitchen runway, the Yaris facelift still carries the same engine, but is somewhat different from other countries.
Under the hood, there is a 1,200 cc 3NR-FXE engine with 92 ps and 109 Nm of torque. This machine is combined with a CVT automatic transmission and also features a Star Stop System in all types.
In Thailand, the Yaris facelift uses a more environmentally friendly engine because it has to adjust to the more stringent Eco Car phase 2 regulations in terms of fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
