Toyota wants to sell all used electric cars at the G20 summit, who wants that?

Toyota Astra engine (TAM) said it would sell 143 units electric machine bZ4X and Lexus UX 300e who finished their duties at the G20 summit this week.

TAM loaned 41 units of the bZ4X and 102 units of the UX 300e for use during the G20 summit.

Both of these electric SUVs have been sold in Indonesia, the UX 300e has been tarmac since November 2020 while the bZ4X went on sale last November 10 or a few days before the G20 summit was held in Bali.

During the bZ4X sale ceremony, TAM Marketing Director Anton Jimmy said the G20 Summit delegated unit will be sold to the public and there will be opportunities to use it for official government vehicles.

Anton is not concerned about the state of the cars used on the bZ4X because he said there is a possibility that not all units will be used by G20 summit guests.

“We don’t know if it’s used or not, if it’s new we’ll sell it new, otherwise it depends,” he said.

“Although according toexample according to only used for two days. It’s not really used. And we will inform the price later,” she said again.

Anton revealed that the company only imported 50 units of the bZ4X for this year’s stock. A total of 41 units were used for the G20 summit, with the rest being offered to consumers at a price of IDR 1.19 billion.

Anton also confirmed that the UX 300e will be sold after the G20 summit.

“Yes, it’s the same, it’s being sold again,” he said when contacted on Friday (11/18).

So far, Anton has not been able to confirm the price of the used bZ4X and UX 300e units. The new UX 300e unit is currently valued at IDR 1.425 billion.

“He will be informed later,” said Anton.
