It hasn’t been that long since we wrote about the upcoming auction of the original Toyota Supra from the film series Fast and Furious. The auction, organized by Barrett-Jackson, recently took place in Las Vegas and the iconic car changed hands for $ 550,000 – about 11.4 million crowns. This is probably the most expensive Toyota Supra ever sold. And he’s probably keeping track of his record for a while.
The car made in 1994 was offered without a minimum sales amount, but everyone knew that many fans of the film or automotive industry would want this car in their collections. In addition to the fact that the car appeared in two parts of the famous series, the actor Paul Walker was also behind the wheel.
Hidden under the hood of the car is a twice-supercharged 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder 2JZ, which was to remain without significant modifications. We are talking about an output of 239 kW (324 hp) and a torque of 427 Nm. The flaw in the beauty, however, is the four-speed automatic transmission, masked in the interior by a manual shift head, which sends power to the rear wheels.

Apart from the false gear lever, the interior is completely authentic. At least, following the example of the film. It has a three-spoke racing steering wheel, blue door panels, blue upholstered sports seats, additional alarm clocks in front of the passenger and on the A-pillar, and there is a screen in the center tunnel.
The exterior, which is decorated with Lamborghini Candy Orange with “Nuclear Gladiator” graphics by Troy Lee Designs, is also completely authentic. The car is also equipped with a Bomex bodykit, consisting of a front bumper and sill extensions, an APR wing at the rear and 19 ”wheels of Racing Hart M5.

Supra for Fast and Furious was built by Eddie Paul in The Shark Shop in El Segundo, California. After the first film, the car underwent a significant modification, to appear in the second part as “Slap Jack’s Supra” with gold paint, modified bodykit and new graphics. But then the car was returned to its original condition.
After all, the original condition of the car, as well as its authenticity, is confirmed by a special certificate of authenticity, thanks to which the new owner is sure that he has not paid more than half a million dollars for a replica.
