Toyota strengthens GR brand identity in New Rush with refreshed GR Sport variant for 2023

Vice President Director of PT TAM, Henry Tanoto, stated that Toyota wants to strengthen the GR brand identity in New Rush, which is known for its sporty, tough and fun to drive image.

This step also aims to reach a wider middle family market segment, while providing Total Ownership Experience value for consumers.

In 2023, Toyota Rush dominates medium SUV sales with wholesale figures reaching 39,340 units or 22.83 percent of the national market share. The Rush GR Sport variant was also successful with sales of 32,693 units or 83.1 percent of total Rush sales.

Seeing high consumer enthusiasm, PT TAM has refreshed the New Rush GR Sport with various enhancements to the exterior and interior details.

The front of the car gets a new touch with a Black Glossy Front Grille Ornament and New Design Black Glossy Front Bumper Spoiler which gives a macho and sporty impression.

Continuing to the exterior, a touch of black can be seen on the Black Outer Mirror and Black Door Handle, while the Dual VVT-i emblem is replaced by a Black Glossy Overfender which gives a more dashing appearance.

On the side, there are changes to the Black Glossy Side Body Molding and Two-tone Alloy Wheel design, which further emphasizes the sporty impression.

At the rear, the GR Sport is equipped with a Black Glossy Upper Door Garnish and New Design Black Glossy Rear Bumper Spoiler to display a tougher body posture.
