JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Toyota Fortuner has successfully led the market automotive motor vehicle four wheels in the country in the period July 2020, beating the Toyota Avanza and Honda Brio.
This achievement, according to data from the Industry Association Motor vehicle Indonesia ( Gaikindo), along with Fortuner’s positive sales growth which reached 82 percent compared to the previous month.
Sales volume from factory to dealer (wholesales) sport utility vehicle Toyota Indonesia’s flagship secondary (SUV) is 1,667 units, almost equal to the average sales before the pandemic.

Meanwhile, sales of the Brio and Avanza, which are usually at the top of the list of best-selling cars, only stopped at 1,223 units and 1,108 units. However, they are still in the top five.
Interestingly, even though it experienced sufficient growth, Avanza had to give up the top position of the best-selling family vehicle to the Mitsubishi Xpander.
Fortuner’s toughest rival, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, is currently in 6th place with sales figures of 703 units, up 54 percent over the June 2020 period.
To know, overall access wholesales in July 2020 it was able to reach 25,283 units, growing 100.3 percent from the previous month.
