Toyota Celebrates Milestone: 300 Million Cars Produced in 88 Years

Japanese carmaker Toyota has released its three hundred millionth car, reaching the milestone 88 years and two months since it rolled off its first production line.

When the first copy of the G1 truck rolled off the Toyota conveyor in August 1935, it was hardly dreamed that one day we would have to talk about a size measured in 300 million. In the fall of 2023, this limit was reached, as statistics show that 180.52 million cars were produced in Japan, and 119.6 – outside the country’s borders. Interestingly, every sixth Toyota car produced, or 119.6 million of these 300 million, belongs to the Corolla family.

Today, Toyota is one of the largest automotive companies in the world, producing more than 10 million vehicles a year.
