Tower C comic television series ends after seven seasons NOW

The absurd comic television series Tower C stops after seven seasons. That was what creators and protagonists Margôt Ros and Maike Meijer made on Thursday The world moves on known.

After seven seasons, Ros (54) and Meijer (52) think it’s time for something new. The new season took three years. This stopover ensured that the actresses looked again at their own material, to finally come to the conclusion that they wanted to make something new and wanted to challenge themselves again.

The reason for the break was that Ros was injured behind the scenes at a show three years ago when she bumped her head on a stage set. She suffered a concussion and is still recovering from it. “Fortunately I can go back to work”, says Ros.

Fans don’t have to worry that the new work will differ a lot from the old one. “We still have the same humor, so maybe it will be called later Tower A or Tower x, but we are going to make new things and therefore stop Tower C“, the duo said.

Tower C was first broadcasted in the Netherlands in the fall of 2008 on Netherlands 3. The new and final season has seven episodes and can be seen every Sunday at 21.40 on NPO3.
