Criticized, will the measure be suspended this week? This is what the Minister of the Economy suggested on Monday morning. On the set of BFM TV, Bruno Le Maire indicated that the health pass would no longer be requested from Wednesday in the departments where the incidence rate has fallen below the bar of 200 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
This is the case of the Rhône, where, according to data from Public Health France, the incidence rate (week from 08/27 to 09/2) is now at 181.7 / 100,000 (200.5 in The city).
Asked this Monday morning by Le Progrès, the prefecture indicated that it was awaiting ministerial instructions.

Significant additional costs
The health pass was in effect since Monday August 16 at the entrance to shopping centers of more than 20,000 m2. Thirteen sites were concerned in the Rhône: Part-Dieu (Lyon 3e), Confluence (Lyon 2e), Saint-Genis 2 (Saint-Genis-Laval), Écully Grand Ouest (Écully), Ikea Parilly (Vénissieux), Carrefour Vénissieux , Auchan Caluire, Porte des Alpes (Saint-Priest), Givors 2 Vallées, 7 Chemins et Carré de Soie (Vaulx-en-Velin), the Géant Casino de Villefranche-sur-Saône and the Carrefour de Francheville.
The measure was strongly contested by the managers of the centers who had to recruit urgently to meet their obligations, generating significant additional costs. Without even mentioning the traffic jams… which form at the entrances to the car parks of the centers, in particular Part Dieu and Confluence.
