Towards the end of the Nantes-Paris and Bordeaux-Paris flights

The measure desired by Paris falls within the framework of the climate law. It is a question of banning internal flights which can be replaced by train connections lasting less than 2h30. This is especially true for Nantes-Paris and Bordeaux-Paris flights. The airports had contested this measure via their French and European unions, which is why the European Commission also had to decide. The latter therefore decided to confirm the decision taken by France.

It should also be noted that the abolition of these air connections would also affect connecting flights. No information yet on the date of introduction of this measure.
