The environmentalist politician also reacted to criticisms from Celeval experts, these judging that the only measure currently in force in Brussels (namely the obligation to wear the mask) is insufficient.
For Elke Van den Brandt, it is still too early to assess the impact of this measure taken only 6 days ago, while a two-week hindsight is necessary to see an impact in the figures. She therefore insists on the importance of respecting this obligation to wear a mask and awaits the meeting of the National Security Council on Thursday to see if additional measures will be adopted in Brussels. “What is not excluded”, according to her.
