Stop the activity with 35% positive in the team group. This is what the draft of the Covid protocol updated for the world of sport which was presented at the State-Regions Conference. After the first rumors, the announcement with the details also arrived, focused on this threshold of positivity among the players (and not only) of the team group which, if reached, would trigger the postponement of a match.

In detail, the protocol provides as main elements the blocking of the entire team if the number of positives is higher than 35% of the members of the athletes group, the isolation for the positives and continuous tests for 5 days for high-risk contacts, with obligation to wear the FFP2 if you do not participate in sports, regardless of the vaccination status. As for low-risk contacts, the measures envisaged by the ministerial indications are to be applied, also in relation to the vaccination status.
The text also insists on the need for tampons to be used for surveillance in compliance with the criteria defined by the Ministry of Health. The new protocol was designed to have safe and shared rules by all administrations, central and territorial, to ensure equal treatment and give certainty to the continuation of sporting activities. In any case, these are temporary measures, to be gradually adapted to different scenarios and situations.
