Looking for a replacement for Ben Chilwell, Chelsea could find happiness at PSG. The London club would already negotiate with Leonardo.
Layvin Kurzawa to replace Ben Chilwell at Chelsea?
Undesirable at Paris Saint-Germain, Layvin Kurzawa could bounce back at Chelsea in this second part of the season. Looking for a left-back to compensate for the package until the end of the season Ben Chilwell, following a serious injury, Thomas Tuchel would have recommended to his leaders to solicit PSG for his 29-year-old defender.
While the name of Nicolas Tagliafico from Ajax Amsterdam has been mentioned by the Italian press in recent hours, the Blues coach would finally push to find his former protege. A very surprising interest since Tuchel was never a big fan of Kurzawa when he was at PSG, the German technician even preferring Mitchel Bakker to him for a good part of last season.
Never mind. According to information disclosed this Sunday by RMC Sport, the English club would have started negotiations with the Parisian sporting director Leonardo for the French international whose contract still runs until June 2024.
PSG Mercato: Chelsea want a loan from Kurzawa
The big rumor launched this afternoon by RMC Sport was quickly confirmed in England by Sky Sports which assures that “Chelsea are interested in recruiting the left-back from PSG. “The British media, however, specifies that the current second in the Premier League would only be interested in a” loan “of Layvin Kurzawa.
In search of cash to replenish the coffers, Paris Saint-Germain would have preferred a direct sale for the former left-back of AS Monaco. It remains to be seen whether this temporary sale will be accompanied by a purchase option or not. Valued at 9 million euros by the specialized site Transfermarkt, Kurzawa would also have keys in Serie A where Inter Milan would have already approached PSG to inquire this winter. Other Italian and English clubs would also be on the spot.
