The new measures sent to the social partners and which have yet to be formalized provide in particular the possibility for employees to have lunch at six around a table.
While employees will soon be able to gradually return to their workplace, company restaurants are preparing to welcome them for lunch.

At the end of March 2020, the government had strengthened the distancing measures governing collective catering. With the progress of vaccination and the decrease in the number of contaminations, they will be able to be reduced, as stipulated in the new protocol submitted by the Ministry of Labor to the social partners and that the Figaro procured. The document, which has yet to be officially confirmed, testifies to a relaxation of the reception of employees at lunch time from June 9.
Among the new measures described in this sheet is the possibility of “Lunch alone or in a group of maximum 6 people, coming together or having booked together, in order to limit the number of contacts”. The previous protocol only authorized employees “Have lunch alone, leaving an empty place in front of you, and strictly respecting the rule of distancing” two meters between each person. Occupied tables should now be spaced at least two meters apart “Unless a fixed or removable wall provides physical separation”. In the queue and for any movement within the restaurant, guests must “Respect a distance of one meter” and keep their mask. They will then have to store it in a pocket during the meal.
As for the maximum reception capacity of collective catering places, it is set by this new document at 50% of the capacity of the establishment.
Favor take-out baskets
The sheet recalls the maintenance of the site disinfection measures and “The provision of the hydroalcoholic gel to the guests at the entrance of the restaurant and after the checkouts” as well as wearing a mask, the presence of “Physical separations at counters and checkouts” or “The ventilation of the rooms by two separate points (door and window) a few minutes every hour, in addition to the aeration / ventilation in accordance with the regulations”. Corporate restaurants are also encouraged to continue “The installation, as far as possible, of baskets to take away and to consume at the workstation for all or part of the guests”.
