At the exit of Pokémon Sword and Shield, many fans were waiting for a new evolution for Évoli. No developments so far, but things could change.
For many fans of the Pokémon saga, the arrival of a new version of Eevee with Generation 8 was beyond doubt. The reason is very simple: all the even generations until now have introduced one or more new evolutions.
Obviously, this charming evolving Pokémon was born from Generation 1. Over the years, the possibilities have multiplied to the point where Evoli now has 8 evolutions:
- Generation 1: Aquali, Pyroli, Voltali
- Generation 2: Mentali, Noctali
- Generation 4: Givrali, Phyllali
- Generation 6: Nymphali
Despite this new form of Eevee every 2 generations that many fans saw as a “tradition” that was bound to repeat itself, nothing new is to report.
A new evolution of Évoli in DLC?
As you probably know, Nintendo and Game Freak have announced that two extensions were intended for Pokémon Sword and Shield. The lonely Armor Island and the Crown Snowy Land will land to make Galar a little bigger in 2020. Many Pokémon will make their return, including legendary Pokémon.
For aficionados of Évoli, the hope that a new evolution will be added has not faded. Indeed, it is quite possible that Game Freak continues what has become a “tradition” and prepares the ninth evolution of this essential Pokémon.
