Saturday, October 23, a fire broke out around 2 p.m. in a disused SNCF room, located avenue de la Gare in Tournon-sur-Rhône. The fire was brought under control in about fifteen minutes by the firefighters. The manager of the electricity distribution network went to the site to cut the power supply to the room while the emergency services were to intervene. The start of fire would probably be of accidental origin. It could come either from a short circuit or from overheating of the power supply. The building being isolated, the incident did not cause any inconvenience to residents.
