Laurane Griffon, a passionate sportswoman, started krav-maga in October 2023 in Tournefeuille. After a discovery session, she found a welcoming team who motivated her to continue. Last January, she learned about traditional karate, then contact karate in February, and boxing in September, in order to prepare for competitions. Laurane complements her practice with running to maintain her physical condition.
His interest in defense sports dates back to when he was 12 years old with a first experience in Sambo and. Krav-maga particularly appealed to her with its ability to strengthen confidence and security, a necessity for her in the face of urban insecurity, particularly in Toulouse.
Develop self-confidence

Outside of sport, Laurane is a practitioner of intuitive decoding. She helps her clients overcome blockages and live more fulfilled lives, using her intuition to guide her sessions. Having herself overcome challenges such as depression and burnout, she wants to transmit positive energy and show that happiness is accessible.
Competition is a powerful driving force for Laurane, bringing her dynamism and motivation. Participating in the world championship in Paris in October was a highlight. There she won a world vice-champion medal during the defense combat event, despite a foot injury which prevented her from participating in the free cage fight. Laurane is proud of her performance, which proved to her that confidence and perseverance allow you to overcome obstacles, even without years of experience.
For her, sport has become essential since 2023, bringing her balance and energy. She considers practicing defense sports crucial, especially for women, because it builds confidence and helps to deal with dangerous situations. Laurane plans to continue training and participating in competitions to further progress in these disciplines.
