Hundreds traveler stuck on the island Karimunjawa Due to bad weather, they were evacuated to Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang, Central Java. It is estimated that they will arrive at Semarang port early this morning.
Reported detik Jateng, Wednesday (28/12/2022), one of the tourists named Abbed Nugroho started to board KM Kelimutu vessel owned by PT Pelni resting at Legon Bajak Port, Karimunjawa, Jepara on Tuesday (27/12) evening. Hundreds of tourists were seen lining up to enter the ship.
“I will soon be boarding a vessel to be evacuated at Semarang port. This is the vessel behind me, the vessel is very large,” Abbed explained via video link.
According to him, the vessel is large enough to accommodate hundreds of tourists stranded on Karimunjawa Island. From the information received, there were 499 passengers.
“The vessel was very large, it came from Sampit, Kalimantan and was asked to dock at Karimunjawa port so we could all evacuate,” Abbed said.
Abbed was grateful to be able to go home. He was on vacation in Karimunjawa with his family. However, due to bad weather, he had to get stranded on Karimunjawa Island.
