news-id-109144" style="display:inline;">Tourists massively refuse to travel to the north of Cyprus due to the threat of earthquakes, Tengritravel.kz reports with reference to the Cyprus Mail agency.
According to the Kyosezade travel agency, 80 percent of tours were canceled in February, and 40 percent were canceled in a few days in March.
The main reason for the refusal of tours is the statements of “experts” who predict new powerful earthquakes in the region, the newspaper notes. Travel agents do not know how the situation with booking last minute trips to the Turkish coast will develop in the near future.
Meanwhile, earthquakes in Turkey do not stop. Tremors of magnitude over 3 and 4 are recorded in the region almost every day.
