The Minister of Development, Jadwiga Emilewicz, informed that on the night of Friday to Saturday, August 1, all the entitlement will be able to activate it and make payments with it. Allowance in the amount 500 PLN will be given to parents for each child. In the case of disabled children, this amount is twice as high. Although the funds can be used until March 31, 2022, many people intend to use the entire pool this year.

Tourist voucher only for hotel services or tourist events and from selected entities
People who are going to pay tourist voucher must remember that he will cover only part of the expenses. First of all, it should be remembered that the entity offering a given service must be on the list created by the PTO in cooperation with ZUS-em. In art. 5. of the Act on the Polish Tourist Voucher, we read that “with the use of the voucher, payments are made for hotel services or tourist events carried out by a tourist entrepreneur or a public benefit organization on the territory of the Republic of Poland”. The regulations stipulate that the expenses must be made for the benefit of children.
For the sake of explanation, hotel services include the rental of accommodation (hotels, campsites, rooms) and services within a given place. Instead, a package is “a combination of two or more different types of travel services for the same trip or holiday“A flagship example of this can be the paid attractions planned as part of the children’s camp.
Tourist voucher. What can we spend it on in practice?
Although the act does not contain a specific list of expenses, it can be deduced from it what payments will be made under the voucher. We will not use it to pay for fuel when traveling to the holiday destination or for train tickets for parents and children. These expenses do not fall under the concept of a hotel service or a tourist event.
What’s more, buying a child ice cream, dinner or cinema tickets as part of a trip with parents will not be such expenses. However, if going to the cinema or for an ice cream will take place within the colony, then the payment for these services will be possible with the use of a voucher. As explained above, such activity is a model example of a tourist event. When it comes to accommodation, parents will be required to pay separation for themselves and the child. In the latter case, you will be able to use the voucher.
