Da Nang –
Staycation synonymous with relaxing in the room hotel while having fun. But what if the room is actually dirty?
A woman named Tran Thu Thuy Dung plans a long staycation at a hotel. He was staying at the Sea Sand Hotel 1 in Kota Da Nang, Vietnam.
This woman decided to have a staycation for two weeks and had booked a room well in advance. After arriving at his room, this tourist was shocked by what he saw.
It turned out that the room was dirty. It was as if the room was being used by another guest and the hotel didn’t clean it.
Tran immediately reported the condition of the room to the hotel staff. He hoped his room would be cleaned soon. He thought, while waiting for the room to clean, he went out for a walk. But far from the fire, after he returned to the hotel, his room was still in the same condition.
Undeterred, Tran again asked the hotel clerk to clean his room. Instead of responding immediately, the complaint was immediately rejected by the hotel staff.
From the first day until the end of the staycation, Tran had to give up living in a dirty room.
Disappointed by this, Tran also wrote about his experience on social media. In fact, Tran immediately asked the local authorities to intervene.
Quoted from Vietnam Express, Tran’s complaints bore fruit. The Da Nang authorities immediately took action against the hotel’s negligence and fined him. Unmitigated, the hotel was fined up to USD 820 or around Rp. 12 million!
Not only a fine, the Da Nang Authority also asked the hotel manager to publicly apologize to Tran.
The city of Da Nang is currently incessantly campaigning for tourism. Da Nang promotes itself as a great vacation area rich in sea and beautiful nature.
