A tour bus hit an overhead post on Porong Toll Road in the direction of Sidoarjo. The accident killed three people and injured 46 others.
The Ardian Putra tourist bus had an accident around 03:00 WIB, precisely on Porong Toll Road in the direction of Sidoarjo km 762,800. The tour bus was returning from Bali to Krian Sidoarjo.
The bus with the number AA 1688 ED was driven by Agus (57), a resident of Krian Sidoarjo with 50 passengers.

“As a result of the incident, 3 people died and 46 were injured,” East Java Regional Police Chief PJR AKBP Dwi Sumrahadi told detikJatim on Monday (10/10/2022) at the crash site.
Dwi explained that the incident started when the bus was traveling from Porong to Sidoarjo. Just at kilometer 762,800 WIB, the bus hit the flyover pole. After hitting the flyover pole, the bus swerved to the right, then hit five guardrails and collapsed.
“Then the bus overturned on all roads,” Dwi explained.
Dwi added that currently the bus has been successfully evacuated and taken to the Satellite pool. Meanwhile, the injured victims were transported to three hospitals.
“All the victims were evacuated to three hospitals, namely the Sabhara Police Training Center Hospital in Porong, Delta Surya and Sidoarjo Hospital,” said Dwi.
