Lockport. One person has died when a tourist boat capsized while on a cave tour in upstate New York. At least 11 other people were injured in the accident, Lockport City officials said.

The boat, with 29 people on board, was on Monday on a tour of an underground cave system in Lockport, upstate New York, not far from Niagara Falls.
The cave system was originally created as an overflow for the Erie Canal and is now a tourist attraction. For initially unknown reasons, the boat capsized towards the end of the tour, the authorities said.
