This is a study by Ifremer which proves it. The researchers did not find a virus in the oysters and mussels that filter the waters of the different French coasts. Dive in peace!

This is timely information, when several European countries are setting the terms for the reopening of beaches. There is no trace of coronavirus in the seas and oceans bordering France, nor in the shells that live there, even when we are looking in the dirtiest waters possible. This “good news” was brought by Ifremer, the French research institute for the exploitation of the sea.
