Qualifications and experiences required:
Education:
The consultant should have at least:
- Hold a BAC + 5 diploma in tourism marketing or equivalent.
Professional experience:
- Professional experience of at least 04 years in the fields of tourism analysis and development, or the development and implementation of tourist circuits, and or development of trade policies;
- Have carried out a project in the field of development and implementation of the tourist offer;
- Understand the nature and role of tourism marketing;
- Identify the characteristics of tourist services;
- Understand the buying behavior of tourists;
- Know the market, segmentation and its use for marketing tourism services;
- Target customers, competitions, successful experiences;
- Know and design a matrix of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the business sector;
- Know the elements and strategies of tourism marketing;
- Differentiate the marketing of tourism services from the marketing of the tourism destination;
- Make service providers and clients: ambassadors for the promotion of the offer;
- Optimize the promotion of the tourist offer;
- Define tourism;
- Learn the History of Tourism Marketing;
- Organize the start of tourism;
- Specify and analyze tourism demand;
- Segment markets / tourist behavior / customer identification, etc.
