The first of two weekend Pyrenees stages awaits cyclists in the 107th Tour de France. During the eighth day of the race, the riders will complete 141 kilometers from Cazéres-sur-Garonne to Loudenvielle with three difficult climbs. Cyclists set off at the track today at 12:00. The abilities of the adepts for the overall victory will be tested by two mountaineering bonuses of the first category and also Port de Balés, the first ascent of the most difficult category on this year’s Tour.
The yellow jersey of the leader will be defended by the Briton Adam Yates, who is three seconds ahead of the big favorite Primož Roglič from Slovenia.
