The frontman of the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, belongs to the so-called vulnerable groups at the age of 78. Now he has contracted the coronavirus. The Stones therefore postponed a concert planned for Monday (June 13) in Amsterdam. “The Rolling Stones are very sorry for the postponement of the evening, but the safety of the audience, fellow musicians and touring crew must come first,” the band said.
On June 1st, the starting signal was given in Madrid for the 14-concert European tour, which will take place on July 15th at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium. Read the review here. The European tour “Sixty” was scheduled to mark the Stones’ 60th stage anniversary, Amsterdam would have been the fourth gig.
